TROPHY WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS
Whitetail Deer Hunts Designed for the Trophy Hunt Experience

Nestled in the heart of north-central North Dakota, Sandy Oaks Lodge is a premier hunting preserve offering trophy whitetail deer hunts and an unforgettable outdoor experience across more than 1,100 acres of carefully managed, high-fenced land. The property is characterized by its scenic, gently rolling hills and a diverse landscape of mature oak, aspen, and poplar trees, providing both natural beauty and an ideal habitat for wildlife. This thoughtfully maintained environment creates excellent conditions for a successful and rewarding trophy whitetail deer hunt while immersing guests in the quiet solitude of the region.
Here at Sandy Oaks Lodge, our guests are treated to fully guided trophy whitetail deer hunts designed for both comfort and success. Hunters are positioned in well-placed, heated hunting blinds during the prime hours of early morning and evening, ensuring an enjoyable experience regardless of the weather. Knowledgeable guides handle all transportation to and from the hunting blinds, allowing guests to focus entirely on the trophy whitetail deer hunt while benefiting from local expertise and insight into animal movement and behavior.

Between whitetail deer hunts, afternoons offer a chance to relax and recharge at the hunting lodge. Whether you choose to unwind indoors, take in the surrounding scenery, or connect with fellow trophy whitetail deer hunters, the lodge provides a welcoming and comfortable retreat. As the day winds down, guests gather for a satisfying dinner before heading outside to enjoy one of the most memorable parts of the experience. Evenings are spent around a crackling campfire under the vast North Dakota sky, where the stars shine brilliantly in the open landscape. It’s the perfect setting to share stories from the day’s hunt, build camaraderie, and fully appreciate the peaceful beauty of the outdoors.
Hunting Blinds

Our hunting blinds are strategically positioned about nine to ten feet above ground level, offering both an excellent vantage point and added concealment. Each trophy whitetail deer hunting blind is thoughtfully designed for easy access, featuring a gradual ramp built into the natural slope of the hill, allowing hunters to walk straight in without the need for ladders or strenuous climbing. Constructed as solid wooden box stands, these trophy whitetail deer hunting blinds are built with comfort and practicality in mind. Inside our hunting blinds, they are insulated with carpeted floors and reliable heating to keep you warm during colder conditions. Tinted windows provide clear visibility while minimizing glare and movement detection, helping maintain a discreet presence in the field. Each trophy whitetail deer hunting blind is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate three to four hunters, making them ideal for small groups or guided experiences.
Shot opportunities are carefully planned to suit a range of hunting styles and skill levels. For bow hunters, feeders are typically placed at distances of approximately 25 to 30 yards, offering optimal conditions for ethical and accurate archery shots. Rifle hunters can expect shot distances reaching up to 200 yards under normal conditions, providing a balanced combination of challenge and accessibility. For experienced and highly skilled marksmen seeking a more advanced test, extended-range opportunities are available, with shots stretching to 500 yards or more during trophy whitetail deer hunts. This flexibility ensures that both novice hunters and seasoned professionals can enjoy a rewarding and personalized hunting experience.
